How much does a website cost in Poland in 2026

Short answer: with a freelancer a landing page is 1500–4000 PLN (~$400–1000), a business site 3000–8000 PLN, and an agency charges 8000–30 000 PLN. The range is huge because "a website" means very different things. Here is the price broken down by factors – useful whether you are an expat, a startup or an established company in Poland.

Price ranges in 2026

Guideline market rates in Poland (Warsaw and remote work cost about the same today):

  • Landing page (one page for a single offer): freelancer 1500–4000 PLN (~$400–1000), agency 5000–15 000 PLN.
  • Business website (5–10 pages): freelancer 3000–8000 PLN, agency 10 000–30 000 PLN.
  • Website builder (Wix, templated WordPress): 0–2000 PLN + subscription, but you build most of it yourself.
  • Online store: from 4000 PLN upward – a separate topic, broken down here.
For reference: with me a landing page starts at 1500 PLN (~$400), a business site at 3000 PLN (~$750). I work solo, with no office or project-manager overhead, so prices stay below agency level at the same technical quality.

What actually drives the price

  • Number of pages and content. Each page is layout, copy and build work.
  • Design: a ready template vs. a from-scratch design (a 2000–5000 PLN difference).
  • Features: forms, booking, multilingual, integrations (CRM, payments).
  • Content: who writes the texts and takes the photos – you or the contractor.
  • SEO: search-ready structure, load speed, structured data – what separates a "business card" from a site that brings clients.

Freelancer, agency or builder

A builder makes sense when the budget is zero and you need "something now". You pay a 50–150 PLN/month subscription and with your own time. Limits: SEO, speed and growth.

A freelancer is the best value for small businesses: 1500–8000 PLN, direct contact, fast turnaround. The one risk: check the portfolio and how they work.

An agency is worth it for large projects (stores, portals, corporations) – you also pay for a team, a project manager and process guarantees.

Hidden & ongoing costs

  • Domain: 60–120 PLN/year (often ~10 PLN the first year, more on renewal).
  • Hosting: 200–500 PLN/year for a normal site.
  • SSL: today usually free (Let's Encrypt) – do not let anyone sell you "SSL for 300 PLN/year".
  • Maintenance: updates, backups, small edits – 0–300 PLN/month depending on the agreement.

How not to overpay – 4 rules

  • Start with a landing page (from 1500 PLN), expand once it brings inquiries.
  • Ask for an itemised quote – "a website for 12 000 PLN" as one line is a red flag.
  • Check the speed of the contractor's portfolio sites in PageSpeed Insights – a slow site loses Google rankings.
  • Make sure the domain, hosting and code are registered in your name.

FAQ

How much does a simple website cost in Poland?

A landing page with a freelancer is 1500–4000 PLN (~$400–1000). It should include responsive design, a contact form, basic SEO and fast loading.

Why are agencies more expensive than freelancers?

You pay for a team: project manager, designer, developer, office and margin. On small projects that markup does not always translate into a better result.

Is a website builder enough for a business?

At the start it can be, but builders limit SEO, speed and growth. When the site must bring clients from Google, a purpose-built site works better.

Want an exact quote for your project?

Describe the task – I will tell you what kind of site you need and send a quote with a plan within one business day. No obligations. Landing page from 1500 PLN (~$400).
